Umbilicals International Inc. (formerly HL Technologies LP.) was originally established in 1996 and substantially expanded by the founding partners in 2002. Headquarters are located in Stafford, Texas (a suburb of Houston).
Equipped with high speed cable production and injection molding equipment, UI manufactures a wide variety of special cable systems for Energy, Defense and Industrial markets.
In addition to custom-built or build-to-print products for US and international customers, UI also offers in-house servicing and repair of various cable assemblies and related system such as land and marine seismic acquisition electronics.
The original purpose-built 60,000 sq ft facility (completed in 2007) has now been expanded to 100,000 sq ft to accommodate significantly larger cable and umbilical products and more efficient manufacturing.
